When I was a kid I had a ball
I had more stuff than I could use from the time I could crawl
I'd see the newest Toys on TV and boy I wanted them all

Teddy bears checker boards puzzles and dice
Multi-coloured cubes spinning wheels flying kites
If it whistled beeped or buzzed or even better came with lights

Toys come in every shape and size Toys what I've come to realize
If you're young if you're old if you're big if you're small it doesn't matter at all

When I was a teen I loved to play
I could hit and run and throw and catch and kick every day
If I woke up and it was raining Plan B was video games

Got a job bought a car I could call mine
Learned to play guitar practiced hard every night
All my buddies dug our band but even better girls liked us

We all need to play I mean everyone
I think it's safe to say there's no such thing as too much fun
